Art Bangla Foundation

Art Bangla Foundation is a non-profit and apolitical organization with the goal of promoting art and humanism. They aim to create a platform for artists to explore their creative ideas and share them with society while uniting like-minded individuals. Their activities include regular workshops, exhibitions, and festivals, as well as providing financial support for research and artistic creation. They also strive to preserve and promote Bangladeshi folk art and handicrafts globally. Additionally, they participate in cultural exchanges and collaborate with other art initiatives worldwide to advance the contemporary art scene.

Also, we work for to pressing issues of environmental pollution and waste management through our interdisciplinary art practices and community-based initiatives, and subject- related socio-cultural activities.

Our Story

Art Bangla Foundation aims to empower and establish artists with various art incentives and activities as Bangladeshi artists especially the emerging ones are less previledged. They need to be groomed up with the contemporary development of global art activities and community engagement. Spearheaded by Professor Mohammad Eunus, the chairman, and Harun ar Rashid, the director general and chief curator of the foundation, alongside several talented and dedicated art devotees, ‘Art Bangla Foundation’ looks to execute various research-based and well curated art activities in the coming years. We are also very hopeful regarding our plans through which we not only tend to shine among the local masses but also hold strong ground internationally.
