An Artistic Future Beaming with the Essence of Heritage

Art Bangla Foundation aims to empower and establish artists with various art incentives and activities as Bangladeshi artists especially the emerging ones are less previledged. They need to be groomed up with the contemporary development of global art activities and community engagement. Spearheaded by Professor Mohammad Eunus, the chairman, and Harun ar Rashid, the director general and chief curator of the foundation, alongside several talented and dedicated art devotees, ‘Art Bangla Foundation’ looks to execute various research-based and well curated art activities in the coming years. We are also very hopeful regarding our plans through which we not only tend to shine among the local masses but also hold strong ground internationally.

Like previous editions, 4th ART FEST 2022, Mymensingh has been arranged in order to inspire a creative and humane generation through the practice of innovative arts. The prime purpose of the arrangement is to diffuse the flow of healthy culture against the backdrop of poor taste, from cities to the remote countryside of Bangladesh travelling beyond the realms of time. Along pledging a contemporary art scenario, renowned artists, from both home and abroad, will share their experiences to local school students, regarding enhance their views on art, culture and creative expression.

With the association and cooperation from the participating artists, over 160 students from various schools of Mymensingh will have the opportunity to create diverse art for four days (December 22-25, 2022). The festival aims to inspire artists to indulge in creating inventive arts in a quiet place beyond the chaotic city life. Set in a natural environment, the festival hopes to become a true artistic reunion for the participating artists and the local inhabitants. The theme for this year’s festival is “”. The purpose of arranging the Art Festival is to create a healthy and beautiful Bangladesh for the present and forthcoming generations.

The festival will feature an exclusive international art camp around 32 or more eminent artists of Bangladesh and abroad, Art exhibitions, Curated art projects, Symposium, Cultural programs, Folk Art and Craft Fair, Creative Installations, Campfire, Sightseeing and more.
